Anisa has had her braids since Thanksgiving and they are holding up pretty well! I've been keeping them moisturized by using the products that we have at home from Carol's Daughter, Oyin Handmade, and Shea Moisture. She will keep her braids for at least a few more weeks and then I'll decide if I want to take them down or not. So far, I haven't done any styles with these braids. She usually wears them down, pinned back or in a high ponytail. Do you have any style suggestions for us to try??
What about french braids for a day and the next day wear the braid out, to make her mini braids curly?
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good! I always love how they look when I do that!
ReplyDeleteThey're so pretty just as they are! Some twist-backs would be pretty too I think
ReplyDeleteThanks GDL! :-D
ReplyDeleteone giant BIG HAIR bow!!
ReplyDeleteLol!!! Of course Baby Big Hair!!
ReplyDeleteA has had in her mini braids since the week before thanksgiving too! like you, not much styling has been done. i think i might do a nice updo for christmas but then again, i probably wont! lol
ReplyDeleteI love how they look. For being in as long as they have they look fresh.
ReplyDelete@ Shay- I know what you mean! Lol!!!
ReplyDelete@ Michelle- Thank you!!
WOW! Her hair is so long and very pretty. I think you are a brave woman to style you daughter's hair in mini braids. I would dread taking them out lol. You always do an excellent job with styling your baby's hair. I think flexi rod or straw curls would be so cute with her mini boxed braids. The curls will last for days without you even having to touch it. It would be a really pretty hairstyle for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kee Kee! Your suggestions sound great!!
ReplyDeleteTYe's braids how been in since before thanksgiving, and we ar finally starting to take them, down, and she has a LOT of braids, so i have a feeling of why you're keeping them in a little longer, lol
